Dogecoin Co-creator’s 3 Favorite Cryptos for Bitcoin’s Trillion-Dollar Surge

The co-creator of Dogecoin, Billy Markus, who is also known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, shared his optimism about Bitcoin’s significant price increase.

In a conversation on a platform now known as X, which was formerly Twitter, Billy Markus, the co-creator of Dogecoin, discussed his thoughts on the future of cryptocurrencies and his connection to Dogecoin.

On Tuesday, Markus wrote, “I have 0.01 bitcoin now so I hope it goes to a trillion dollars.” In response, thedogecoach expressed a bit of disappointment, saying, “It slightly hurts me that you don’t love Doge. You created something that brings many of us together and may well be a vehicle that we can all exchange on X.”

Why It’s Significant: Markus revealed his top three favorite cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. He doesn’t discuss Dogecoin much due to issues with certain community members who can be demanding or even threatening.

When asked if he might become more active with Dogecoin in the future, Markus explained that if those problematic individuals went away, he’d be more involved, but right now, there’s no benefit for him.

This coincides with Markus’ positive outlook on Bitcoin’s price increase. There’s also significant progress in the cryptocurrency world as BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, a highly anticipated Bitcoin ETF, moves closer to becoming a reality by securing a spot on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) list.

Current Status: At the moment, DOGE is trading at $0.06811, showing an 8.61% increase in the last 24 hours.
