Alchemy Pay Expands Operations in the United States After Securing Money Transmitter License in Arkansas.
Alchemy Pay, a cryptocurrency payment gateway, has obtained a Money Transmitter License from the Arkansas Securities Department, allowing it to offer services like selling or issuing payment instruments, stored value, prepaid access, and receiving money, virtual currency, or monetary value for transmission in Arkansas.
This license puts Alchemy Pay in the company of other cryptocurrency firms like Coinbase, Block (owned by Jack Dorsey), MoonPay, and bitFlyer exchange, which are authorized to conduct crypto-to-fiat transactions in the state.
The company plans to secure similar licenses in other U.S. states and expand its services to bridge the gap between fiat and crypto economies.
Alchemy Pay, founded in Singapore in 2018, offers a crypto-to-fiat payment platform supporting transactions in 173 countries, including regions like Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and India.
Additionally, it has been recognized by global payment giants Mastercard and Visa as a compliant service provider.
