Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, has underscored the importance of the upcoming play-to-earn (P2E) game, Shiba Eternity. She pointed out that the game marks a major milestone for Shiba Inu’s blockchain, Shibarium, as well as for its ecosystem tokens, SHIB and BONE.
In her announcement, Lucie shared a short clip showcasing Shiba Eternity’s gameplay, further emphasizing its significance for the Shiba Inu community.
Shiba Eternity’s Integration with Shibarium and Future Plans
The Shiba Inu marketing lead has highlighted key features of the upcoming game, Shiba Eternity, in preparation for its integration with Shibarium. Currently, the game is available only as a mobile version. However, Shiba Inu’s developers are working to transition it to the blockchain.

Lucie emphasized that fully integrating Shiba Eternity with Shibarium will transform digital gaming and ownership. She referenced a statement from Shib Games’ lead, Angel, who noted, “Shiba Eternity will be our first game to run fully on Shibarium. This game will be a big step forward.”
Shiba Eternity’s Impact on Shiba Inu Ecosystem Tokens
The Shiba Inu marketing lead has outlined additional key features of Shiba Eternity, particularly its benefits for Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens. She explained that the game will use BONE for all transactions on Shibarium, which will contribute to the burning of SHIB.
Lucie also noted that other Shiba Inu tokens will gain from the game’s blockchain integration in the future. BONE, Shibarium’s official gas fee token, will be used to pay transaction fees across all Shibarium-based projects, including the upcoming Web3 version of Shiba Eternity. Shibarium is designed to burn SHIB by using a portion of the gas fees from each transaction.
Shiba Eternity Integration with Shibarium: NFT Cards and New Features
The marketing lead announced that once Shiba Eternity integrates with Shibarium, its cards will automatically become non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These NFTs will be compatible with blockchain wallets and available for trading on the forthcoming Shib marketplace.
Lucie also highlighted that each Shiba Eternity card will be unique, increasing its value and attractiveness to traders.
Additionally, the blockchain version of Shiba Eternity will feature a redesigned interface, an improved reward system, and a new tournament format to enhance the overall gaming experience.
Shiba Eternity Closed Beta and Launch Plans
Shiba Eternity is nearing its launch, with the team planning closed-beta testing for the Web3 version in the third quarter of the year.
Lucie announced that the testing will be available to community members who have staked LEASH tokens or own certain NFTs. Additionally, loyal players transitioning from the Web2 version of the game to the new Web3 iteration will receive a special welcome gift pack.
While the closed beta is expected to start next quarter, an exact launch date has not been set. After the closed beta phase, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team will open testing to the public.
