In a recent experiment, TON developers achieved remarkable results. In just 12 minutes, they conducted approximately 42 million transactions, with a peak speed of 108,409 transactions per second (TPS).
Within 11 minutes, the test network with 256 validators handled a staggering 43,012,970 transactions. This makes TON the world’s fastest blockchain, surpassing others significantly. For comparison, Bitcoin manages 5-7 TPS, Ethereum around 15 TPS, and Solana held the previous record with 65,000 TPS.
TON now claims the title of the fastest blockchain globally, processing 104,715 transactions per second. As of the latest update, Toncoin (TON) is trading at around $2.18, with a 3.14% gain.

TON Wallet Boosts Toncoin’s Rise in September
In September, the introduction of the TON wallet within the Telegram messenger played a significant role in the increased value of the Toncoin cryptocurrency. It approached the $3 mark and even outperformed Solana in market capitalization, making its way into the top ten digital assets.
All users of the Telegram Wallet now have access to TON Space. The Telegram Wallet is a bot that allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. Starting in November, Telegram users worldwide will be able to access a self-storage wallet, except for residents in the USA and a few other countries.
