JUP Coin: A $625 Million Airdrop Event
Jupiter, a decentralized exchange aggregator on Solana, is gearing up to distribute $625 million worth of its native JUP tokens. Jupiter announced on December 27 that 700 million JUP tokens will be airdropped to approximately 2.3 million wallet addresses as part of its “JUPuary” campaign.
Jupiter’s airdrop rewards users based on their trading activity. For example, users with over $800 in transaction volume will receive 50 JUP, while those surpassing $14 million in volume can claim 20,000 JUP tokens. Users who engage with features like dollar-cost averaging (DCA), perpetual futures, or limit orders will also qualify for additional tokens. Jupiter’s high-volume users stand to gain significantly from this event, solidifying its position as a key player in the Solana ecosystem.

Other Notable Airdrops in January 2025
Beyond Solana, several other airdrops are capturing attention:
- Sundog (SUNDOG): On January 3, Trust Wallet users who connect their wallets will receive SUNDOG tokens.
- Chromia (CHR): Airdrop snapshots for $CHR token stakers will occur on January 15 through @colorpool_xyz.
- DRV Token: 5% of $DRV’s supply will be distributed on January 15 to $sENA stakers.
- OpSec (OPSEC): A snapshot for $OPSEC holders is active from December 11, 2024, to January 20, 2025.
- SuperRare (RARE): The Season III $RARE airdrop runs from December 19, 2024, to February 6, 2025.
