Among these, Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) has emerged as the top performer, boasting a remarkable 36% increase over the past week. VIRTUAL’s appeal stems from its innovative sentient AI agents designed to enhance user interaction within the AI and Metaverse landscape through blockchain technology.
Other notable AI projects include Near Protocol (NEAR) and Internet Computer (ICP), both of which have shown promising potential for 2025. NEAR has risen by 5.59% and ICP by 4.4% in the last week, although both remain significantly below their all-time highs. NEAR’s peak was over three years ago at $20.42, while ICP reached a high of $750 four years ago.
Additionally, Bittensor (TAO), The Graph (GRT), and Render (RENDER) are also gaining traction, with respective weekly increases of 14%, 5.7%, and 4.7%. These projects are expected to benefit from a market uptrend, supported by strong community engagement and developer activity.
Bittensor plans to decentralize further with the launch of dTAO, while The Graph is set to implement significant upgrades. Render has already achieved substantial growth in 2024 and aims to replicate this success in the coming year.
