Manta Network and Symbiotic Enhance Manta Pacific with Fast Finality

Manta Network, in collaboration with Symbiotic, has announced the introduction of fast finality on Manta Pacific, a move set to enhance the cryptoeconomic security of the platform. This development, reported by Manta Network, aims to improve transaction efficiency through the integration of advanced technologies.

Enhanced User Experience with Fast Finality

Manta Pacific, a prominent modular Layer 2 (L2) solution, will benefit from fast finality by reducing the traditional multi-day transaction confirmation period to just minutes. This is particularly significant for users who previously had to endure a three-day challenge period for transaction confirmations. The integration promises near-instant withdrawal experiences, enhancing overall user efficiency and cross-chain communication.

The fast finality mechanism is achieved by utilizing Symbiotic’s flexible vault system, which manages operators’ stakes and ensures block finality commitments. This process leverages an additional cryptoeconomic stake layer, allowing transactions to reach finality quicker and more reliably.

Restaking $MANTA for Security

Upon the mainnet rollout, users can enhance the security of the network by restaking Manta Network’s native token, $MANTA. This initiative marks the first implementation of its kind on any OP Stack deployment, showcasing Manta Network’s dedication to pioneering technologies that improve user experience.

Prestaking Opportunities

Manta Network has also opened opportunities for users to prestake $MANTA, contributing to the network’s security. Interested participants can follow a detailed prestaking tutorial provided by the network.

Symbiotic’s Role and Manta Network’s Vision

Symbiotic, known for its flexible coordination layer, plays a crucial role in customizing and managing restaking implementations, focusing on modularity, immutability, and capital efficiency. This partnership aligns with Manta Network’s vision of integrating cutting-edge technologies to support a scalable, user-centric blockchain environment.

Manta Network, recognized as the largest modular L2 scaling solution on Ethereum, powers over 200 applications with unmatched throughput and resiliency. This latest integration with Symbiotic further solidifies its position as a leader in decentralized application deployment, aimed at scaling to a global user base.
