Pi Coin Network Tips To Complete Migration And Avoid Scams
Pi Coin Network Alerts: Warns Of Potential Scams
Pi coin Network needs 15 million users to migrate to mainnet by January 31 after passing Know Your Customer or KYC. Liveness checks need completion and a specific Pi Network token acknowledgment needs to be signed for approval.
Furthermore, the Pi Network project is gaining popularity, a trend that gives opportunity to fraudsters to target the community. That is why, the Pi community is suggesting the users to rely only on the Pi Network official channels, and also make sure that they make use of the designated Pi Browser for Pi Wallet access.
Tips For Users: Actions Users Need To Take
Pi Network is not new, but over five years old. However, we all are still awaiting the launch of its native token and open mainnet. However, the team has claimed that its first major milestone even before these developments is the Open Network introduction. This crypto project will now require passing 15M users before the grace period ends, that will be on January 31, 2025.
Pi crypto Network also claimed to be making “excellent progress,” as it had done 9 million successful Pi crypto Mainnet migrations.
Now, there started complaints regarding the procedures, for which the Pi coins Network team suggested completion of actions. They suggested additional liveness checks via videos that are clear and well-lighted.
Additionally, users should secure their accounts as required in the Mainnet Checklist. That includes checking the application, taking mandatory steps when prompted to receive final Pi Network KYC results, and preparing for migration ASAP.
“When prompted in the mining app for such additional liveness checks, please take the liveness checks and do not close the popup. Sign the token acknowledgment even if you are still waiting for your KYC results, as it is required for anyone to migrate to Mainnet anyway,” has been the advice.
Pi Network Tips To Avoid Scams
Pi crypto Network further went on suggesting to avoid bad actors. Though controversial, Pi Network is highly popular too with its application exceeding 100 million downloads. That gives scammers a chance to play their games.
This project is particularly popular in Asia, mainly South Korea, India, Vietnam, China, and Japan.
Two warnings the Pi Network has given to its users, called pioneers, include trusting only the information shared through Pi official channels. The developers have already created a dedicated safety page listing verified sources as well as URLs.
Second, the users have been warned to access their Pi wallets exclusively through the designated Pi Browser. The alert read, “Ensure you’re in the correct Pi Wallet, not any fake one, to safeguard your Pi. The authentic Pi Wallet is also visually identified by a purple color in the navigation bar of the Pi Browser with a Pi logo featuring the Core Team apps logo.”
Pi Network allows crypto mining for the crypto miners who wish to mine cryptocurrencies from their smartphones. While South Korea has over 1.3M Pi Network users, this number exceeds the domestic client base of popular crypto exchanges like Binance and Coinbase.
It was also in the news for the Pi coin Network wallet addition by Zypto app.
