Changpeng Zhao (CZ) revealed that the current team dedicated to the Giggle Academy project consists of 10 individuals. These team members include both part-time and full-time workers, all of whom operate remotely. Zhao highlighted the team’s commitment to regular communication, with scheduled meetings held three times a week along with smaller discussions.
According to CZ, the recruitment process is still in progress for Giggle Academy. He mentioned that he personally conducts around twelve interviews every week. Initially, the team aimed to expand to 15 members, indicating ongoing efforts to strengthen the project’s workforce.
Zhao provided insights into the project’s progress, stating that the team has completed the content for the first phonetic (English) lesson. Currently, efforts are underway to finalize the production of this lesson, marking a significant milestone in the development of Giggle Academy.

Zhao shared that they’ve made some changes to their plans. Firstly, they’ve decided to prioritize developing the Android version of their project instead of a web version. They believe this makes sense because many households have Android devices before laptops, and smartphones are easier for children to use with touch screens and instant notifications.
