Shiba Inu Team Highlights K9 Finance Milestones Ahead of ETHToronto
The Shiba Inu ecosystem team expressed excitement about supporting K9 Finance and highlighted several key achievements of its liquid staking partner. These milestones include launching closed-beta testing for its liquid staking platform, bridging the KNINE token to Shibarium, and becoming an official validator for the leading L2 scaling solution.

Shiba Inu and K9 Finance Prepare for ETHToronto Conference
The ETHToronto conference, part of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference (BFC) and Canada Crypto Week, is set to take place on August 13–14, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario. Alongside the ETHWomen conference, these events will be key highlights for the crypto community.
Shiba Inu is a title sponsor of the ETHToronto conference, and as part of this sponsorship, the conference organizers will provide Shiba Inu with a dedicated booth to showcase its projects and those of its partners, including K9 Finance.
Last year, Shiba Inu also sponsored the ETHToronto conference, where it announced the launch of its L2 scaling solution, Shibarium. Since then, Shibarium has processed over 400 million transactions. This year, Shiba Inu plans to offer another notable experience, with its liquid staking partner K9 Finance set to make a significant announcement during the conference.
The K9 Finance team is expected to launch the second phase of its liquid staking platform in Q3 2024. This new phase, launching on the Shibarium mainnet, will allow users to swap their staked BONE tokens for K9’s liquid asset, knBONE.
