In his post, Trump shared a video in which he states that this afternoon, he will lay a plan to ensure that the country becomes the planet’s crypto capital.
He mentioned bad actors who want to “choke” people out of business and promised that he would not let this happen.
Trump’s video ends with the appearance of the World Liberty Financial logo – a DeFi project that his sons have been promoting.

World Liberty Financial is a crypto project developed as part of a broader decentralized finance venture. According to data from Forbes, the Telegram group run by Trump’s sons Eric and Don Jr. has been renamed World Liberty Financial.
On his Truth Social account, on August 22, Trump shared a message, saying that for too long, the average American has been squeezed by the big banks and financial elites. “It’s time we take a stand – together,” he wrote.
Trump also shared a link to a Telegram group run by his sons Eric and Don Jr. called “The DeFiant Ones,” which is a reference to the crypto-based concept of decentralized finance (DeFi).
The Telegram group was renamed World Liberty Financial. The channel also teased updates, revealing that they are gearing up for major announcements and exciting updates that would “transform decentralized finance forever.”
More than that, the Telegram channel also warned people of potential scams, telling them that they have been made aware of some ads circulating on Telegram claiming to be from them, and offering fake airdrops or token sales.
They made it very clear that they are not doing any airdrops or selling any tokens.
Trump’s sons first teased an upcoming project related to crypto and DeFi a while ago, mentioning a platform that would take on banks.
