NEAR Foundation and Alibaba Cloud Collaborate to Boost Web3 Growth in Asia

NEAR Foundation and Alibaba Cloud join forces to provide developers with a data query API through multi-chain indexing.

NEAR Foundation partners with Alibaba Cloud to drive Web 3 growth in Asia and the Middle East. The non-profit organization, responsible for developing the NEAR protocol ecosystem, collaborates with Alibaba Cloud, the computing and storage division of the Chinese tech giant, to accelerate the adoption of Web 3 technologies in the region.

NEAR Foundation gains access to Alibaba Cloud’s developer ecosystem in Asia and the Middle East. The partnership aims to attract developers to build on the NEAR protocol by offering “plug-and-play” infrastructure as a service from Alibaba Cloud, facilitating the launch of new NEAR validators.

NEAR Foundation and Alibaba Cloud to provide RPC service and data query API for NEAR ecosystem. The partnership offers developers and users the ability to access and interact with blockchains through remote procedure calls (RPC). Additionally, multi-chain indexing will enable seamless data querying for developers.

NEAR Foundation enables users to utilize NEAR Blockchain Operating System (BOS) with Alibaba Cloud infrastructure. The BOS platform, introduced earlier this year, empowers developers to build and engage with other users, leveraging the capabilities of Alibaba Cloud.

Alibaba appoints Web 3 investor Joseph Tsai as new Chairman. The recent hiring of Joseph Tsai by Alibaba, known for his involvement in Web 3 investments and collaborations with crypto-related entities, reflects the company’s growing interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
