BingX, a Singapore-based crypto exchange, confirmed that one of its hot wallets was hacked on Friday morning. The chief product officer, Vivien Lin, stated that the technical team detected suspicious activity around 4 AM on September 20. Lin noted that the loss was minor, as only a small amount was stored in the hot wallet. She added that following the cyberattack, withdrawals have been temporarily suspended, and assets have been transferred. Lin stated that an emergency inspection is being conducted to strengthen wallet services and asserted that the withdrawals would be restored within 24 hours at the earliest.
