Binance’s founder, Changpeng Zhao, confirmed his freedom via a “GM” post on X yesterday, and this morning he shared a more detailed message with updates and plans for the future.
CZ: “More Opportunities in the Future”
Today, September 29, via a new post on X, CZ highlighted what others usually take for granted: the luxury of tasting good food again and being able to have more than one piece of fruit per day.
He told his followers that he knows they have many questions for him, but he will not have all the answers.
CZ expressed the need to take some time for himself, and only after that will he figure out the next steps.
“There are always more opportunities in the future than there were in the past,” he wrote.
He also showed his gratitude to everyone for the continuous support which meant a lot to him and kept him strong in the darkest moments.
Updates and Plans for the Future
In his message, CZ also provided a few brief updates and thoughts for the future.
- Giggle Academy – He noted that the Giggle Academy (a global project to create free, fun, and easily accessible learning tools for children) has been going well so far, and will continue to remain a big part of his life for the next few years.
- Future Investments – CZ also said that he will continue to invest in blockchain, decentralized technologies, AI, and biotech, highlighting that he is a long-term investor who cares about impact and not returns.
- Charity and Education – CZ said that he plans to dedicate more time and funding to charity and education, and noted that he already has some rough ideas.
- His Book – Binance’s founder said that he is still working on his book, and he finished about 2/3 of it; he highlighted the great effort to goes into such a project.
CZ mentioned Binance at the end of his message, saying that the crypto exchange seems to be doing well without him in charge, which is excellent and this is every founder’s dream.
