The crypto cloud mining service platform Bitdeer has finished building its new mining place in Bhutan.

In late July, the company got about 23,000 new mining machines and there are 7,000 more on their way to the Gedu Datacenter.

The CEO of Bitdeer, Linghui Kong, mentioned that they are already checking how well the machines work. Around 11,000 miners are running smoothly, and in July, 15,000 more mining machines arrived at the data center.

The company does three main things: they mine for themselves, share their computing power, and host other people’s mining equipment.

In recent times, Bitdeer has been working with the government of Bhutan to open its new mining place. Bitdeer wants to grow more in Southeast Asia. Some people are worried about how the new place might affect the environment.

Bitdeer already has mining centers in different countries like the US and Norway, where they partner with a company called Druk.
