David Rubenstein, who started a big investment company called The Carlyle Group, said on Tuesday that he regrets not buying bitcoin when it started. He mentioned this in an interview on Bloomberg Television.
Billionaire investor David Rubenstein thinks bitcoin is here to stay because many people are really interested in it.
He talked about this on Bloomberg Television and said that one big reason is that you can transfer it without the government knowing, and it’s private.
He also said he wishes he had bought bitcoin early on. David Rubenstein started a company called The Carlyle Group that does a lot of investing.
Bitcoin is more than just a trend
Rubenstein pointed out that even though people used to mock cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, now well-known companies like BlackRock and Fidelity are trying to get approval for a bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
He thinks this shows that if big companies are interested in bitcoin, it might be here to stay.
