In a recent chat with crypto YouTuber Tony Edwards, famous crypto expert Lark Davis shared his top five altcoin choices for the expected bull market in 2024. Davis named BEAM, JOE, LINK, DOT, and ILV as the coins he’s optimistic about in the coming year. He pointed out that these tokens could experience significant growth, driven by various factors.
Top Performers in Davis’ Altcoin Picks
JOE, the native token of the decentralized exchange platform Trader Joe, has thrived in the recent bullish crypto market, witnessing a substantial 77.18% increase in the past 30 days, with an additional 8.37% uptick in the last seven days.
BEAM, the crypto asset for the gaming network Beam network, experienced a remarkable surge of 105.93% in the past 30 days. However, its momentum slowed in the last seven days, resulting in a 6.87% decline. Currently trading at $0.01862, BEAM demonstrates the market’s dynamic nature.
LINK, identified by Davis as having multiple catalysts for upward momentum, saw a marginal 2.77% price increase despite the broader altcoin market boom. The analyst highlighted Chainlink’s CCIP upgrade, expected to attract institutional investors and reshape the DeFi space.
DOT, another standout altcoin in December’s market rally, gained 66.6% in that period. Presently trading at $8.66, DOT reflects a 5.10% drop in the past 24 hours, showcasing the market’s fluctuations.
ILV, an ERC-20 token in the Illuvium gaming ecosystem, holds potential for growth as per Davis. Priced at $98.24, ILV experienced a 6.36% decrease in the past 24 hours. Davis believes increased activities in Illuvium, especially with new game launches, could further boost ILV’s value.
