CZ Offers Initial Response to SEC Lawsuit Against Binance and Himself
In a report by Bloomberg, it was revealed that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Binance and its CEO CZ, alleging violations of securities laws. CZ, in response to this development, took to his Twitter account and stated:
“Our team is actively ensuring system stability, including withdrawals and deposits. We will provide a response once we have reviewed the lawsuit. I have not seen it yet.”
4.
Our team is all standing by, ensuring systems are stable, including withdrawals, and deposits.
We will issue a response once we see the complaint. Haven't seen it yet. Media gets the info before we do.

In his response, CZ, addressing the allegations and attempting to dispel any fears of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) that may arise from previous reports, added an additional statement. Along with emphasizing the team’s efforts to maintain system stability and the promise to provide a response after reviewing the lawsuit, he specifically mentioned the number “4.” By including this reference, CZ aimed to address the notion of any speculation surrounding Binance’s operations or potential disruptions, reassuring users and the community that their concerns were being taken seriously and promptly addressed.
