Binance has announced Banana Gun (BANANA) as the first project featured on its airdrops portal. BANANA is the token for the Telegram-based trading assistant, Banana Gun bot.
Binance Airdrops BANANA Tokens: Key Details and Listing Information
Binance has announced that users who subscribed their Binance Coin (BNB) to Simple Earn products between June 23 and July 5 are eligible to receive the airdropped BANANA tokens. The Binance HODLer Airdrops page is now live, providing detailed information on the distribution process.
The total supply of BANANA tokens is capped at 10 million, with 8.9 million currently available. Out of this, only 2.42 million tokens are in circulation, and 800,000 BANANA tokens have been allocated for the airdrop rewards.
Following the airdrop, Binance Spot will list BANANA on July 20 at 09:00 UTC, with trading pairs including BTC, USDT, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. Users who received BANANA through the airdrop will find their tokens in their spot wallets an hour before trading begins.
Binance has warned users about potential price volatility due to the increase in circulating supply from the airdrop.
BANANA Token Surges Following Binance Airdrop Announcement
The BANANA token has experienced a significant price increase following Binance’s announcement. In the last 12 hours, BANANA’s price surged by over 26%, rising from $57.60 to $72.60. Trading volume also spiked dramatically, increasing by 1,000% to $36.4 million.
Over the past year, BANANA has gained more than 500% and is currently just 11% below its all-time high of $78.33, reached last month. Crypto expert Ran Neuner has highlighted BANANA for its strong potential for substantial returns.
Launched on June 19, the Binance HODLer Airdrop Portal distributes on-chain airdrops to users. These tokens are provided by projects with sufficient circulating supply before their listing on Binance. The program primarily rewards BNB holders based on their historical balances. Users who subscribed to the Simple Earn Program with BNB automatically qualify for HODLer Airdrops and may also receive rewards from Binance Launchpool and Megadrop.
Binance transfers airdrop tokens to users’ spot wallets before the tokens are listed on Binance Spot. As part of its seventh-anniversary celebrations, Binance has enhanced its rewards, including a two-week competition with significant prizes for dog-themed memecoins.
