Henry Child, Head of Tokens at Bitfinex, shared his excitement about the recent addition of 9GAG’s Memecoin (MEME) to their platform. Child emphasized that this move reflects Bitfinex’s commitment to integrating tokens that combine technological advancements with the vibrant culture of the internet, signaling a focus on community-driven and innovative projects.
As of January 9, 2024, users gained the ability to deposit Memecoin (MEME) on Bitfinex. The trading of MEME is scheduled to commence on January 11, with pairs against the US Dollar and Tether tokens. Withdrawals will follow shortly after, becoming accessible starting January 12.
This development follows Binance Labs’ recent investment in 9GAG’s Memecoin (MEME), underscoring the growing interest and support for innovative projects within the cryptocurrency space.
