Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong is optimistic about on-chain ads, on-chain games, Layer 2 privacy, and P2P exchange on-chain. He shared his views before the upcoming Coinbase Ventures Summit in October 2023.

Brian Armstrong gave advice to DeFi builders, asking them to concentrate on ten important concepts. He thinks these ideas are crucial for the whole crypto world and to help new crypto companies grow.

Brian Armstrong Encourages Developers to Explore On-Chain Applications

Brian Armstrong, who leads Coinbase, shared advice in a blog post. He asked DeFi builders to see the bear market as a chance. He wants them to make new applications using ten ideas. These include things like Flat Coin Concept, On-Chain Reputation, On-Chain Ads, and more.

Coinbase can do a lot in crypto, but they want to help others too. Armstrong said they need more people to join them.

Armstrong thinks these areas will be important soon. He talked about flat coins, which are tokens that follow the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to keep their value. He believes flat coins can help with inflation and seizure problems related to regular money and stablecoins.

He’s also excited about on-chain ads, games, reputation, and capital formation. He believes decentralized identity, ads, and gaming have big potential. To help these new companies, he suggested a way for them to raise money globally.



Armstrong’s advice comes before the first-ever Coinbase Ventures Summit in October 2023. This event will bring together top crypto builders to share ideas. Some projects might get funding from Coinbase Ventures.
