Elon Musk has been publicly disowned by his transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson. The 20-year-old used the social media platform Threads to challenge her father’s recent controversial comments.
She posted a screenshot of an old tweet from Musk where he claimed she was “born gay and slightly autistic,” a statement she strongly denied, calling it “entirely fake.”

Elon Musk had previously discussed his daughter’s transition during an interview with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson on The Daily Wire. Musk claimed he was “tricked” into consenting to gender reassignment surgery for his daughter, Vivian, who was previously known as Xavier.
In the same interview, Musk made controversial comments about the broader topic of gender transition for children. He described allowing such procedures as “incredibly evil” and suggested that those who advocate for these surgeries “should go to prison.” Musk also expressed that “the woke-minded virus killed his son,” referring to the impact of societal attitudes on his views.

Vivian Jenna Wilson strongly opposed Elon Musk’s recent remarks on Threads, asserting that he was not present during her childhood. She suggested that Musk’s comments were based on outdated stereotypes and accused him of making baseless claims to gain sympathy.
Wilson clarified, “I disowned Musk, not the other way around,” addressing Musk’s earlier claim on X that she was “not a girl.” She responded by stating, “I’m legally recognized as a woman in the state of California and I don’t concern myself with the opinions of those who are below me.”
Wilson criticized Musk for reducing her to a “happy little stereotype” and accused him of being “desperate for attention and validation” while being in a “ketamine-fueled haze.”

In reaction to California Governor Gavin Newsom signing Assembly Bill 1955, which allows school forms not to notify parents of their children’s gender changes, Elon Musk announced plans to move SpaceX and Tesla headquarters from California to Texas. Musk argued that laws like this would drive both families and businesses to leave the state.
