Hamster Kombat Introduces Controversial Trump-Themed Card

Telegram’s Hamster Kombat has launched a new “Fight fight fight” card referencing a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The card shows cartoon hamsters recreating a dramatic scene from Trump’s rally. With over 250 million players, the game is buzzing as it nears its token launch.

Hamster Kombat’s New Card Draws on Trump’s Crypto Engagement

Hamster Kombat’s latest card, “Fight fight fight,” mirrors Donald Trump’s increasing involvement in the cryptocurrency scene. Trump’s campaign now accepts crypto donations, supports American Bitcoin miners, and includes cryptocurrency in the Republican Party’s draft platform.

The card reimagines a famous photo of a bloodied Trump raising his fist, replacing him with cartoon hamsters. It features the subtitle, “Hamsters never give up,” and a description praising resilience: “You are a strong manager and nothing can stop you.” The scene mimics a Pulitzer Prize-winning photo from Trump’s Philadelphia rally, with hamsters replacing Trump and his Secret Service.

The phrase “Fight, fight, fight,” which Trump reportedly shouted during his rally, has become a rallying cry for his supporters. Trump has also capitalized on this moment by selling limited-edition sneakers with the phrase and his image, which sold out by July 18.

Hamster Kombat Integrates Crypto and Political Themes

Hamster Kombat, a game playable within Telegram, lets players manage their own crypto exchange as a hamster CEO. Players use in-game money to buy features, upgrades, and marketing to boost their passive income. The game has previously included cards inspired by events like Euro 2024 and crypto conferences.

In just three months, Hamster Kombat has attracted over 250 million players, a milestone announced by Telegram CEO Pavel Durov on July 5. The game, which is set to launch a crypto token on The Open Network (TON), plans to distribute it via an airdrop later this month.

Former President Donald Trump has become more supportive of cryptocurrency, with his campaign now accepting crypto donations and the Republican party including crypto in its draft platform. Despite this, it is unclear whether the new card in Hamster Kombat, which references Trump’s failed assassination attempt, is intended as a tribute or if it crosses a line.
