The team behind the project announced the final results of their first season via a post on X.

Hamster Kombat Season 1 Results

Here are the key points following the first season of the game, according to Hamster Kombat:

  • Over 300 million people joined the game since March 26, 2024.
  • 131 million users qualified for the September 26 Airdrop.
  • 2.3 million users were banned as cheaters.
  • 30.6 million qualified users haven’t chosen a withdrawal method before the deadline.

The team at Hamster Kombat told users who still lack a withdrawal method that they can still claim their tokens.

HMSTR Token Distribution

Out of the 100 billion HMSTR tokens, 75% is reserved for the community.

60% of the tokens will be distributed after Season 1 as follows:

  • Users will get 88.75% immediately during the airdrop.
  • The remaining 11.25% will be vested and unlocked for ten months after the listing.
  • An additional 15% will be dropped during the upcoming Season 2 of the game.

They also told users that many new features are coming for the Interlude and Season 2 of the game.

Game Results Trigger Frustration Among Users

The game’s community showed disappointment following the results, accusing the project of cheating.

In various posts via X, demoralized and depressed users mostly complained of unfair distribution and favoring inviting referrals.

Here are the most frequent complaints:

  • PPH (Point per Hour) was a key metric for airdrop eligibility, but the focus was shifted to keys.
  • After players spent countless hours collecting keys, the results reportedly favored inviting referrals.
  • Users received cheating accusations without a real reason.
  • Vesting was implemented without informing the community.

Vesting refers to gradually releasing tokens to investors, team members, and other stakeholders over a predetermined schedule.

An Unfair Airdrop Allocation

The community complains that Hamster Kombat cheated on the community, allocating a large portion of the airdrop to YouTubers and influencers for referrals.

These are reportedly the main culprits behind the disappointment, with users complaining that influencers sell the dream of iPhones and Lambos to new users to gain millions of views and subscribers and then gain huge amounts of money.

A user also shared an example of HMSTR allocation, highlighting that most coins went to friends’ referrals.

Users said the only way to compensate real users is to reallocate referral bonuses to them.

While Hamster Kombat has consistently highlighted a strong work ethic and fair play, its Season 1 results have sparked criticism among users regarding these very principles, leading to accusations of scamming innocent people.
