MicroStrategy’s Latest BTC Purchase Between November 11-17
The company’s Form 8-K submitted to the US SEC reveals that between November 11 and November 17, MicroStrategy acquired 51,780 Bitcoins worth around $4.6 billion, at an average price of $88,627 per coin, including total fees and expenses.
The BTC purchase was made using proceeds from the issuance and sale of shares under the Sales Agreement.
Also, the official notes revealed that, as of November 17, MicroStrategy, together with its subsidiaries, held an aggregate of approximately 331,200 BTC, acquired at an aggregate purchase price of about $16.5 billion and an average purchase price of approximately $49,847 per coin, including fees and expenses.
The company’s Form 8-K revealed that on October 30, 2024, MicroStrategy entered into a Sales Agreement with more companies, according to which it may issue and sell shares of its class A common stock, per value of $0.001 per share, having an aggregate offering price of up to $21 billion from time to time via the Sales Agents.

MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin Yield Data
The company’s Form 8-K submitted to the SEC also noted that from October 1, 2024, to November 17, 2024, MicroStrategy’s BTC Yield was 20.4%.
Also, from January 1, 2024, to November 17, 2024, the BTC yield was 41.8%.
BTC Yield is a key performance indicator (KPI) that represents the percentage change period-to-period of the ratio between the Company’s Bitcoin holdings and its assumed Diluted Shares Outstanding.
MicroStrategy uses BTC Yield as a KPI to help assess the performance of its strategy of buying Bitcoin in a manner that the company believes is accretive to shareholders.
