People using Kraken and Kraken Pro can exchange both coins for U.S. dollars and euros on the regular market.
Tokens from Reddit’s communities, known as Moons (MOON) and Bricks (BRICK), got a big boost in value after Kraken, a big crypto exchange, started letting people trade them on Monday.
The MOON token, which belongs to the Reddit group r/CryptoCurrency with lots of users, went up by more than 47% in the last day to reach 42 cents. The BRICK token, connected to the r/Fortnite subreddit, increased by nearly 50% in the past day to reach 4 cents, according to data from Coingecko.
MOON tokens are given as rewards for comments or posts in the r/CryptoCurrency group. People can keep these tokens in a special wallet on Reddit and use them for trading, giving tips, or using them within the community for various things. Similarly, BRICK tokens serve a similar purpose in the r/Fortnite community.
Kraken chose to add MOON and BRICK tokens after their support team hinted on the r/CryptoCurrency subreddit that they’re open to adding new coins. This made people think that they might add MOON and BRICK tokens eventually.
