Shiba Inu Burns 1.16 Billion Tokens in a Week – 716M in a Day

More than 1.16 billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) coins were removed in the last week, with 716.48 million gone in the last 24 hours.

In the past week, the Shiba Inu community burned 1.16 billion SHIB coins. They did this in 217 different transactions, which is pretty impressive.

The burn rate went up a lot by 282% compared to the previous week. In the earlier week, the community took out 304.76 million SHIB coins through 154 different transactions.

MARSWAP (MSWAP)

The main token of MARSWAP DEX, called MARSWAP (MSWAP), became the top SHIB burner this week.

The community project to burn SHIB tokens was really active over the weekend, removing 939.78 million SHIB coins forever in 101 different transactions.

MSWAP adds a 2% fee to each transaction. They use this fee to buy and burn SHIB tokens.

By August 13th, the project had burned over 3 billion SHIB tokens.

According to Shibburn.com, in the last day, the community removed 716.48 million SHIB coins in 97 different transactions.

Even though a lot of SHIB coins were burned, the total burn rate went down by 16 percent in the last day.

Big investors, called whales, are interested in Shiba Inu again. This is before the exciting launch of Shibarium. Recently, a new whale got 4.59 trillion SHIB coins in a single transaction, worth $48.25 million.

Shytoshi Kusama, who’s in charge of SHIB, said that they will soon make more BONE coins. This means they will stop the BONE contract. People who like Shiba Inu are really excited about this because it’s connected to the Shibarium Mainnet launch. But the exact date of the launch is still a secret.
