M2’s New Integration Enhances Crypto Accessibility in UAE
M2 has announced that its latest integration will expand its offerings in response to a rapidly evolving financial landscape. According to M2, this development marks a significant milestone for increasing the accessibility of virtual assets in the region.
M2 CEO Stefan Kimmel emphasized that this integration is a crucial step in broadening the company’s services for the MENA region. He noted that it reduces friction between traditional finance and virtual assets, allowing UAE residents to trade using familiar banking services alongside M2’s features and security.
Kimmel also highlighted that this move is regulated by the UAE government, which operates under one of the world’s strictest regulatory frameworks, ensuring robust consumer protection.
M2’s FSRA License Enhances Trust and Security in UAE Crypto Market
M2, licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), operates within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), a prominent international financial center. The exchange received its license on August 16, 2023, enabling both institutional and retail clients in the UAE to buy, sell, and store digital assets on the platform.
M2 CEO Stefan Kimmel previously noted that the ADGM’s licensing process was rigorous, reflecting the high standards required for multilateral trading facility permits. Despite the demanding process, Kimmel emphasized that this thorough due diligence ensures that licensed platforms meet the UAE’s security and transparency standards, enhancing user trust in the market.
