US Senator Cynthia Lummis helped Coinbase by sending a paper to the court. She said the SEC shouldn’t sue Coinbase.
Coinbase wants the court to stop the SEC from saying bad things about them. They did this in a paper they gave to the court on August 4.
In a paper on August 11, the senator said that the SEC is trying to control the crypto world by suing Coinbase. She also said that the SEC is saying that almost every crypto thing is a bad thing. But she thinks the SEC doesn’t have the power to do that. She also said that the US Congress didn’t tell the SEC to watch over crypto things.
Other crypto companies also said they like Coinbase. The support from the crypto world should help Coinbase in their fight with the SEC.
