Bitget, a top cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, is now the first centralized exchange (CEX) to introduce a USDT delivery feature to its Pre-market product. This feature is part of their advanced over-the-counter (OTC) trading solution, allowing users to place orders in advance.
The new USDT delivery feature improves upon the existing Token Delivery model by reducing the risk of users defaulting during pre-market trading. The TON-based project, Major (MAJOR), will be the first to test this new feature in the Pre-market.
Bitget Enhances Pre-Market Trading with New USDT Delivery Model
The traditional Token Delivery model, while effective, has encountered challenges, particularly when sellers miss the delivery time or face delays in making on-chain deposits. These issues often result in insufficient tokens in seller accounts, leading to delivery defaults and unnecessary financial losses.
Bitget’s newly introduced USDT Delivery model addresses these problems by removing the requirement for sellers to deposit tokens and for buyers to sell the received tokens afterward. Instead, profits and losses are directly and automatically settled at the time of delivery, reducing the risk for sellers and enhancing the trading experience for buyers.
Bitget’s Pre-Market platform offers the opportunity to trade new coins before their official listing on the exchange. This peer-to-peer marketplace encourages early adoption and competitive pricing, allowing traders to react quickly to news and events outside regular trading hours. This responsiveness is crucial for taking advantage of market-moving events that occur during off-hours.
By enabling orders to be placed before the official market opening, pre-market trading gives investors a strategic edge. It allows them to anticipate and respond to potential price movements as soon as the market opens. This proactive approach can be highly beneficial for traders aiming to maximize their investment opportunities.

This new feature underscores Bitget’s commitment to continuously improving the user experience and providing innovative trading options. Traders can now take advantage of this feature with the listing of the MAJOR token on the Pre-market platform today.
Since its launch in April 2024, Bitget’s Pre-market platform has granted users early access to over 25 high-profile projects, including EigenLayer (EIGEN), Zerolend (ZERO), Notcoin (NOT), ZkSync (ZKSYNC), and more.
