Breaking : Ripple Lawyer Exits Case, Potentially Favoring US SEC

Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are heading towards a summary judgment in their ongoing legal battle. In a significant setback for Ripple, one of their lawyers has requested to step down from the case.

According to court documents, Attorney Kylie Chiseul Kim has submitted a letter to withdraw as counsel for Ripple Labs. The letter mentioned that other law firms, Kellogg, Hansen, Todd, Figel & Frederick, P.L.L.C., and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, will remain as counsel for the defendants. The court has approved the motion to withdraw.
