Coinbase recently announced its upcoming campaign called “Moving America Forward” in a blog post on May 22. The campaign will begin with a series of four advertisements featuring Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. These ads are scheduled to be shown primarily during popular Sunday shows on U.S. television. Additionally, some of the ads will also be aired during commercial breaks of the NBA Finals series.

Coinbase is introducing a national campaign called “Crypto: Moving America Forward” to showcase the important role of cryptocurrency as a technology that will modernize the global financial system.

The campaign will also highlight the global adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, particularly in countries like China. Coinbase aims to emphasize that if the U.S. doesn’t play a leading role in developing this technology, it could jeopardize the country’s economic leadership and national security.

The ads have different titles: The History of Money Initiative, Stand With Crypto Day, Real People Using Crypto for Real Needs, and The State of Crypto Summit. Each ad will be released during different weeks.

The History of Money Initiative ad campaign will showcase the timeline of currency, from ancient times to the present crypto era. It will include visual displays on Wall Street and a mobile-billboard made from an armored money truck to promote the campaign.

The Stand With Crypto Day ad will raise awareness for an upcoming event organized by Coinbase, focused on lobbying efforts. The event, scheduled for July 19 in Washington D.C., will bring together members of the crypto community who will advocate for policies that support cryptocurrencies when engaging with their respective members of Congress.

The last two ads, Real People Using Crypto for Real Needs and The State of Crypto Summit, will showcase how individuals are utilizing cryptocurrencies to achieve economic freedom. These ads will also promote an upcoming event organized by Coinbase, which will take place in New York City on June 22.

Coinbase’s new campaign continues the trend from their previous ad this year, which centered around the idea of updating financial technology through cryptocurrency.

In March, Coinbase launched a YouTube ad called “It’s Time to Update the Financial System,” and they also aired an ad during the NFL Super Bowl in February. The Super Bowl ad included a QR code that viewers could scan to access a page for a promotional Bitcoin giveaway.

The company has increased its lobbying activities.

On May 12, Coinbase created the Global Advisory Council, which includes former U.S. lawmakers and industry leaders. The purpose of this group is to navigate the ever-changing and intricate world of cryptocurrencies on a global scale.

In February, Coinbase initiated a grassroots political campaign called “#Crypto435” that aims to amplify the voices of crypto users in all 435 congressional districts across the United States.

Coinbase Global Inc’s shares increased by 7.56% in the past 24 hours and are currently trading at $61.07, as reported by Google Finance.
