Introduction of Shibarium and Shiboshi NFTs: Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, recently announced on X platform that the play-to-earn game Shiba Eternity is set to launch on #Shibarium. Lucie emphasized that players will need to own Shiba Inu’s NFT Shiboshi to earn rewards within Shiba Eternity. Previously, Lucie confirmed that Shiboshi would be a prerequisite for certain reward-generating activities within the game, enhancing user engagement and contributing to the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Role of SHEboshis (SHEB) in Shiba Eternity: Lucie highlighted the importance of SHEboshis (SHEB) within the game, mentioning that the DN404 token would be essential for future breeding. According to Lucie, breeding using the DN404 standard would enable the creation of new virtual puppies. Apart from breeding, SHEB would also serve other purposes within Shiba Eternity, as mentioned by Lucie.
Contribution to SHIB Burn Campaign by Shiba Eternity
Lucie also shared insights into how Shiba Eternity will play a role in the ongoing SHIB burn campaign. With the game’s upcoming launch on Shibarium, Lucie highlighted that every transaction within Shiba Eternity will necessitate Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), the network’s official gas fee token.
As a result, a portion of the transaction fees generated from activities within Shiba Eternity will be allocated to purchasing and burning SHIB tokens. Introduction of Non-Blockchain Version: Shiba Inu initially introduced the non-blockchain version of the game in October 2022. Developed by top entertainment company PlaySide Studio, this version allowed players to engage in strategic card battles.
Transition to Play-to-Earn (P2E) Version: Following the success of the non-blockchain version, the development team has been working on building a Play-to-Earn (P2E) version to be deployed on Shibarium.
