Terra Do Kwon

According to the Montenegro Prime Minister, Terra founder Do Kwon allegedly has political ties with Milojko Spajić, the President of the Europe Now political party.

According to outgoing Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, outgoing Justice Minister Marko Kovac, and the Special State Prosecution Office, Terra co-founder Do Kwon is alleged to have political ties with a political party leader in Montenegro. They have received a letter from Do Kwon claiming that he financed the Europe Now political party.

Do Kwon Allegedly Has Ties With Montenegro’s Political Party Europe Now

Montenegro Prime Minister Dritan Abazović has stated that he personally read the handwritten letter penned by Terra co-founder Do Kwon and subsequently forwarded it to the prosecutor’s office. The letter alleges a connection between Do Kwon and former Finance Minister Milojko Spajić, dating back to 2018.

It is further revealed that Spajić is not only the president of the Europe Now political Party but that Do Kwon claims to have provided financial backing to the party.

Following the alleged links between Do Kwon and Milojko Spajić, outgoing Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, along with political parties and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), have jointly urged the Special State Prosecution to initiate an investigation.

Expressing concern, Prime Minister Abazović emphasized the potential negative implications for Montenegro, particularly in light of Do Kwon’s status as a wanted individual by both US and South Korean authorities. The aim is to prevent Montenegro from becoming a safe haven for global fraudsters, regardless of their association with blockchain or any other technology.

Despite Spajić’s denial of the allegations, stating that he informed Minister of Interior Filip Adzic about Do Kwon’s presence in the country, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović refutes the claim, asserting that it is untrue. Spajić did acknowledge knowing Do Kwon since 2018, describing him as a friend and revealing that the company he worked for had invested in the Terra project. Notably, he expressed satisfaction in reporting Do Kwon to the authorities based on this relationship.
