The ERC-4337 (also known as EIP-4337) operates on the Polygon blockchain and offers developers the ability to achieve account abstraction. It utilizes a smart contract for validation and incorporates a higher-level pseudo-transaction object called UserOperation. This enables simplified and secure transactions, resulting in a user-friendly experience for decentralized applications (dApps).
The chart provided by Sandeep includes data on various blockchains such as Polygon (MATIC), Ethereum (ETH), Arbitrum (ARB), Binance Supply Chain (BSC), Optimism (OP), and Avalanche (AVAX). According to Sandeep’s tweet, there were 4,000 active wallets holding ERC-4337 tokens during the month of April.
Until March, there was no specific count of active wallets mentioned. However, in April, Polygon secured the top position with the highest number of active wallets. In May 2023, the chart shows that the number of active ERC-4337 wallets is still below its peak, with around 2,000 wallets being active across different blockchains. It is hoped that by the end of the second quarter, there will be significant growth in the number of ERC-4337 wallets in the crypto market.
