In a recent update, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, addressed a community member’s concern about the SHIB token’s price not changing much despite the team’s efforts.
Focus on Real Work, Not Just Noise Required
In a message posted on his X platform, Kusama emphasized the importance of real efforts to boost SHIB’s price. He highlighted that it’s genuine work that matters, not just making noise. Kusama pointed out that those who talk the most aren’t necessarily the ones doing the actual work.
The user @Blacktalizman, like many others in the Shiba Inu community, shared similar concerns. They had hoped for a significant rise in SHIB’s price after the launch of Shibarium in August but were disappointed as the token’s price remained stagnant and even declined.
After Kusama’s response, @Blacktalizman acknowledged the need for substantial effort to boost SHIB’s price. They mentioned that SHIB wasn’t initially created to make money but pointed out that many community members have invested heavily in its growth, and for some, it’s a significant financial commitment.
Shiba Inu Is Not Lacking
The Shiba Inu team has been actively working despite the SHIB token’s price not reflecting their efforts. They responded well to the issues during the launch of Shibarium, scaling the network and keeping the community updated. Shibarium has achieved significant milestones, with over 3 million transactions and 1.2 million wallets interacting with it.
Efforts to make SHIB deflationary have been noticeable, leading to potential value increases as the circulating supply decreases. The burn mechanism relies on community adoption and transactions, not just developer actions.
The team has more projects in the works, including “The Shib,” teased by lead developer Kusama. Currently, SHIB is trading at around $0.000007181, with a slight 1% decrease in the last 24 hours.
