Shibarium Testnet Soars to 31M Transactions

Shytoshi Kusama celebrated a new milestone on Puppynet with a “partying face” emoji. The platform now records an impressive average of 256,340 transactions per day.

The community is abuzz with excitement as Shibarium, a highly anticipated Layer 2 solution for Shiba Inu, nears its release. The recent achievement of a significant milestone on its testnet has amplified the enthusiasm among supporters.



Shytoshi Kusama, co-creator of Shiba Inu, expressed optimism about the recent surge in Puppynet transactions following the launch of the Shibarium testnet on March 11.

Shibarium Testnet Success Excites Community

“cryptolight Shibarium” on Twitter announced that Shibarium has surpassed 31 million transactions. Shytoshi Kusama celebrated the achievement with a “partying face” emoji in the comments, fueling excitement within the community.

Recent Shibarium Transactions and Wallet Safety Warning:

According to Puppyscan, Shibarium reached daily highs of 277,139 and 279,814 transactions on July 4 and July 11, respectively, with an average of 256,340 transactions per day. However, linked wallets have remained stagnant since reaching 17,062,440 last week.

Kusama, a prominent SHIB leader, issued a crucial safety warning to the Shiba Inu community. He urged enthusiasts to protect their cryptocurrency holdings by purchasing cold wallets directly from reputable makers to avoid falling victim to fraudsters and hackers. Kusama emphasized that the tweet was a vital “security sidenote.”



Swiss crypto wallet manufacturer Tangem, in collaboration with the Shiba Inu team, is set to ship 5,000 preordered SHIB cold wallets. These innovative wallets, which are the size of a regular bank card, have the capacity to store over 6,000 digital currencies, including SHIB. The release comes just a week before the shipment begins.
