The people working on Terra Classic have made changes to the rebel-2 testnet. They updated it to version 2.0.0 with something called Cosmos SDK version 0.45. There will be another update on May 31st called Cosmwasm v1.1.0, which will let people make new things on the Terra Classic chain using Terra Luna 2.0 and Cosmos. This is great news for the Terra Classic community! One of the people who helped with this update is Edward Kim, who is an important developer. It was surprising that he helped.
Edward Kim shared pictures of the whitepaper for the Block Entropy artificial intelligence chain. The TestNet can support only a few types of tasks related to machine learning right now, like image editing, creating text, and making music using artificial intelligence. Later on, they plan to add more features like making sure information is private, using a programming language called Python, and training and improving the machine learning models.
Looking forward to the Cosmwasm 1.1.0 Parity upgrade
To get ready for the May 17 mainnet upgrade, the Joint L1 Task Force is getting ready to use Cosmos SDK v0.45.11. They will also share a plan on something called Agora about updating the mainnet to version 2.0.0.
The developers said they can do the updates for Cosmos SDK and Tendermint on the Rebel-2 testnet earlier than expected (May 5). On May 9, the Tendermint update will be done for the Rebel-2 testnet.
Groups like StakeBin, Allnodes, Lunanauts, StellarDrift, and SolidVote participated in upgrading the rebel-2 testnet to v2.0.0 using Cosmos SDK v0.45. This means that developers and projects from Cosmos and Terra Luna 2.0 can use the Terra Classic network again when the update to Cosmwasm 1.1.0 Parity happens on May 31.
