Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Community Disapproves of L1TF Q4 Plans

Terra Do Kwon

The core developer team for Terra Luna Classic, known as the Joint L1 Task Force (L1TF), has shared information about their Q4 plans for the chain’s development and upkeep.

“The core development team behind Terra Luna Classic, called the Joint L1 Task Force (L1TF), has outlined their plans for Q4, but the community is unhappy with their approach.

There were technical problems with Q3 upgrades that affected Dapps and projects. Surprisingly, L1TF intends to provide their services for free in Q4.”

Terra Luna Classic L1TF’s Q4 Proposals Unveiled

On September 17, L1TF developer Vinh Nguyen shared the Q4 proposal for the L1 Task Force. Surprisingly, the team intends to focus solely on maintenance, fixing technical issues, and implementing improvement proposals. The team consists of just three developers: Vinh, Gevik, and Inon Man.

The Terra Luna Classic community is not pleased with the lack of upgrades or significant developments in the Q4 plan. While they appreciate the team’s willingness to work for free, they strongly disagree with the proposal. Additionally, the community believes that the team is understaffed and needs new developers or replacements.

The Joint L1 Task Force recently upgraded the network to core v2.2.1 on September 12, 2023. However, they’ve noticed technical issues stemming from previous upgrades, requiring dedicated maintenance. To prioritize speed, they sacrificed layer 2 compatibility, resulting in many malfunctioning DApps and tools.

L1TF’s Focus

L1TF aims to establish a stable Layer 1 infrastructure and user-friendly Terra Classic smart contract development libraries. Their primary tasks include resolving L1 technical problems, updating essential DApps on Terra Classic, and collaborating with other infrastructure teams.

The Q4 budget is set at $9,000, equivalent to 160 million LUNC. Since the team plans to volunteer their efforts for the quarter, the budget covers discretionary computing expenses for three months.

As of now, LUNC is trading at $0.000058, experiencing a slight 0.50% increase in the past 24 hours. Trading volume decreased last week and appears to be continuing the downward trend this week.
