There are more than 1.8 million cryptocurrencies out there, and it can be hard to know which one to look at. Sometimes, it’s easier to listen to what others say, but you have to be careful.
So, Finbold made a list of five cryptocurrencies that are sold for less than $1 each on August 11. This can help you start your research next week, but it’s not advice to invest.
Here’s the list, ordered by how much they’re worth.
XRP (XRP)

Because of new information about the Ripple vs. SEC case, the time to buy XRP might be next week. This is because there’s confusion about what the US government said recently.
Right now, XRP is being bought and sold for $0.63. In the last day, it went up by 0.25%, but in the last week, it went down by 5.55%.
On August 9, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) said that Ripple is now part of its group that helps with money moving between countries.
Cardano (ADA)
People who invest in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) are becoming more interested in Cardano (ADA). This can be seen in the growing amount of Cardano-related money, which is now at a record high of 600 million ADA invested in 24 DeFi projects.
The research company Messari also said that Cardano had its best time in the second quarter of 2023. Some highlights from their report are:
– More people are using Cardano apps every day.
– The number of Cardano app transactions went up a lot in the second quarter, with an average of 57,900 each day.
– Many of the new projects in the last six months make up almost half of the total Cardano-related money.
At the moment, ADA is worth $0.29. In the last day, it lost 1.02% of its value, and in the last week, it lost 0.44%.
Shiba Inu (SHIB)
Some numbers from The Coin Perspective show that if Shiba Inu had as much money as Dogecoin (about $10.6 billion), each Shiba Inu coin (SHIB) would be worth $0.000011. This would be 45% more than what it’s worth now. This is based on the idea that the total money for Shiba Inu (SHIB) would be about $10.2 billion.
People are thinking this because Shibarium is about to start. Shibarium is a special kind of computer for Ethereum. It’s being made in the Shiba Inu world and will have things like a special place to trade, a world made in computers, and games using computers, like Shiba Eternity.

Right now, SHIB is worth $0.00001018. In the last day, it went up by 2.10%, and in the last week, it went up by 18.64%.
Nano (XNO)
There’s a person who looks at crypto stuff on Twitter called Cryptollica. They say they see a pattern called ‘Inverse Head and Shoulders’ for the XNO/USDT chart. This might happen soon if the way things are going changes in the next few days. This same thing happened before for Nano (XNO) in 2021 when it went up to around $17-18.

Nano is a small crypto (rank 275 on Coingecko) that started in 2017. There are 133.2 million XNO coins. People can use it to send money anywhere in the world without paying fees, and it usually takes less than a second to do.
They made the network better with the latest update (v25) so it can handle more stuff without a problem.
Right now, XNO is worth $0.66. In the last day, it went down by 0.83%, and in the last week, it went down by 1.78%.
Arkham (ARKM)
Arkham Intelligence is a special platform that looks at things happening on blockchains. They started an intelligence marketplace on July 10, where people can earn by sharing their intelligence. After they started, they gave some of their special tokens to people for free. These tokens are called ARKM. When they put ARKM on Binance (a big place to trade tokens), the price went up a lot, by 1,500%.

The platform is getting bigger, and more people might want the token because it’s used to exchange for information rewards and to help decide what the platform does next.
ARKM is worth $0.419 right now. In the last day, it went up by 2.04%, but in the last week, it went down by 8.49%.

Some people who like privacy and are part of the crypto community are not happy with the program. They think it’s not good to encourage sharing very small details about transactions on blockchains.
But the boss of Arkham says that if we could know who was doing transactions on blockchains, it might have stopped lots of money from being lost. This is a big argument happening about finding out who is using blockchains.
