Cryptocurrency analyst Viktor expressed optimism about the popular memecoin PEPE, comparing it to Dogecoin, the leading mainstream memecoin.
Viktor indicated that PEPE has a smoother path compared to Dogecoin to achieve a 10x increase in market value. For DOGE to attain this, it needs to reach a $100 billion market cap, while PEPE only requires a market cap of $6 billion, according to him.
Viktor highlighted several advantages of PEPE over DOGE. He mentioned that PEPE outperformed most coins during the recent Bitcoin pump following the ETF news, while DOGE was losing value against Bitcoin even during the favorable period for altcoins from January to February 2023 (though DOGE has shown some improvement recently).
Additionally, PEPE has fewer coin holders, resulting in less selling pressure, and it is poised to enter the best-case price discovery process soon.
Analyst Tree expressed bearish sentiments on PEPE, stating that the hype surrounding the coin is dwindling every day. As a result, he believes that with each passing day, the likelihood of PEPE experiencing a significant surge is diminishing.
