This innovation enables users to seamlessly transfer MANTA tokens between Manta Atlantic and Pacific on the Ethereum Layer 2 network, enhancing cross-chain functionality.

Connecting Blockchains: Bridging the Divide

Manta Network, in collaboration with Polkadot, has achieved a significant milestone by introducing a pioneering substrate-native token bridge to an Ethereum Layer 2 network. Utilizing Polkadot’s Cross-Consensus Message format (XCM), this development enhances interoperability between different blockchain networks, facilitating smoother asset movements.

The bridge between Manta Pacific and Manta Atlantic, the two primary ecosystems of Manta Network, plays a central role. Manta Pacific, functioning as a modular Layer 2 (L2) ecosystem, offers a scalable environment with low gas fees, catering to activities like DeFi, SocialFi, and zkApps.

On the other hand, Manta Atlantic, recognized as the fastest Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Layer 1 (L1) chain within the Polkadot network, utilizes $MANTA for gas fees, staking, and other on-chain activities. This achievement signifies a step forward in connecting disparate blockchain ecosystems, promoting seamless interactions.

Celer’s cBridge Boosts Cross-Chain Functionality for Manta Network

Celer’s cBridge, set to debut at the Token Generation Event (TGE) on January 18, 2024, plays a pivotal role in streamlining cross-chain interactions between Manta Pacific and Manta Atlantic within the Manta Network. This development signifies a significant advancement in improving overall cross-chain functionality.

For users holding $MANTA on Manta Pacific, the cBridge enables a seamless transition to the Manta Atlantic ecosystem, facilitating activities such as staking. The bridging process necessitates users to have $MANTA in their Manta Atlantic wallet and $ETH in their Manta Pacific wallet to cover gas fees.

The cBridge offers an alternative bridging route, known as Atlantic<>MoonBeam<>Pacific, in addition to the standard Manta Bridge. This alternative route, activated in case of Manta Bridge failure, leverages Celer’s cBridge to transfer $MANTA between Moonbeam and Manta Pacific. This robust bridging infrastructure enhances reliability and ensures uninterrupted cross-chain operations within the Manta Network.

Staking Opportunities on Manta Atlantic: A Guide for $MANTA Holders

Users on Manta Atlantic now have the exciting prospect of staking $MANTA tokens to contribute to the network’s security via the collator program and earn staking rewards. The straightforward process involves selecting a collator from the options available on the Manta Atlantic Collator website and staking the desired assets.

Manta Atlantic offers a range of features to enhance user engagement, including seamless cross-chain transactions, token exchange facilitated by MantaDEX, decentralized token swapping through Mantapay, and the availability of Liquidity Staking Tokens (LST) powered by Bifrost. This comprehensive set of features aims to provide users with diverse options for participating in and benefiting from the Manta Atlantic ecosystem.
