Regional forums will take place in Washington, DC; Boston, MA; Columbus, OH; and Anaheim, CA, with participation from members of the Congressional Financial Literacy & Wealth Creation Caucus. These events align with Financial Literacy Month and Small Business Week, highlighting their importance in advancing financial education and assisting small businesses.

The initiative, driven by the bipartisan Financial Literacy & Wealth Creation Caucus and public institutions, aims to highlight the interconnectedness of the Web3 ecosystem with traditional entities. Through a series of briefings, the initiative seeks to emphasize the role of traditional institutions in developing financial security and risk mitigation tools to educate and empower participants in the Web3 market.

Key Stakeholders Unite for Education:“Education is paramount,” stated Nilmini Rubin, Chief Policy Officer at Hedera. Together with Blockchain Foundation, the initiative strives to pave the way for a more informed and resilient Web3 ecosystem. By bringing together key stakeholders from institutional and community levels, the initiative aims to foster responsible innovation and facilitate constructive conversations.

Luncheon Briefing Details

The luncheon briefing is scheduled to take place at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM EST. This event serves as a platform to honor Financial Literacy Month and Small Business Week.
